Several weeks ago it was being rumored that Sarah Hyland might not be in the best place emotionally since breaking up with longtime boyfriend turned stalker, Matt Prokomp -- pointing to the Modern Family star's seemingly substantial weight loss as evidence that something was terribly wrong. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the 24-yhear-old beauty is happier than ever and has just been getting into slightly better shape now that she's single again. In fact, Hyland's Modern Family mom, Julie Bowen, insists she's as proud of Sarah as she's ever been now that she's staring in her very own movie, See You in Valhalla.
A short time ago word was going around that Sarah Hyland was looking a little worse for the ware after recently dropping a few more pounds than seemed necessary, but some of her friends insist that the Modern Family star's getting in shape shouldn't be anything that anyone is worrying about.
One source claiming to be close to Sarah explains in the May 18, issue of OK! Magazine that now that she's got Matt Prokop completely out of her life for the first time in years, Hyland is as happy as she always should have been:
"Sarah's always been small, so when she loses a few pounds it shows.
"Sarah may have lost a pound or two, but it's nothing to fuss about.
"She's really in a great place right now and is just focused on staying healthy...she's got a good head on her shoulders."
During a recent interview with OK! TV, Hyland's co-star Julia Bowen didn't bother getting into the silly weight loss rumors -- instead opting to focus on how proud she is of Sarah and her burgeoning new movie career:
"I'm so proud of my girl -- she just made a movie!
"It's good but very different. I think the Modern Family fans will get a run for their money."
Despite people's presumptions about her, Sarah told StyleCaster that she is quite fond of food and even food porn but is a little tired of this jokester on Instagram that keeps tagging her in countless pictures of dishes that she's never been within a hundred miles of ordering -- more or less eating:
"There's this one Instagram account that keeps tagging me in its pictures, and I guess it's like a foodie thing.
"They go to different restaurants and take pictures of the most delicious-looking food and they just always tag me in them and I'm just like, stop.
"Stop doing this because these are restaurants that are not in my state...[and] I don't know where it is.
"Stop tweeting me wings because I want these and it's making me hungry!"
So, it seems that getting stalked by social media obsessed foodies is far less stressful than actually being followed around by your real-life ex-boyfriend.
