Tonight, The Mysteries of Laura is all new with third to last episode of the first season. However, according to some reports it might be the last season. The series has not been officially renewed or canceled yet, but it could be leaning towards the latter. Check the report below to see what the experts are saying about the Debra Messing series.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Mysteries of Laura, titled “The Mystery of the Crooked Clubber,” reads:
“A club patron's death is linked to jewelry heists, so the detectives must halt a thievery ring in order to solve a murder. Meanwhile, Jake breaks divorced-parent protocols, leading Laura to reexamine her involvement with Tony.”
It is stil unknown if the show will be canceled or renewed but Zap2it’s TV By The Numbers column is reporting that it will be “likely canceled.”
Debra Messing recently sat down with Huffpost Live telling them all about how her last show Will & Grace ended too soon:
"I guess I would change the fact that we stopped [the show] after eight years. It was such a happy time, and we were all really exhausted by that point and it was the right thing to do at that time, but now obviously time has passed, and I watch the show with my son who laughs at it and I think it would've been really great to do it a few more years."
