Last Night’s America’s Got Talent live show had some pretty shocking moments. We’ve got a recap of the episode and help shed some light on how AGT and Howard Stern made #Tuchas trend on Twitter. Major SPOILERS below.
The first revelation of the night came from teenage magician/heartthrob (can that possibly be right), Collins Key, revealed that he was single. The KriStef Brothers, however, admitted that they can bench press over 350 lbs.
The first round of eliminations began with Aaralyn & Izzy, Kevin Downey, Jr. and Alexandria the Great. Aaralyn and Izzy were the young kids who screamed death metal. Kevin Downy, Jr. was the erratic (and perhaps, obscure) comedian and Alexandria the Great, the (slightly over) middle-age escape artist. In a shocking decision, none of them will be proceeding to the semi-finals.
The second round of contestants didn’t fair any better. They, too, were all sent home. Special Head, who captivated audiences by his first performance, got a little sloppy and destroyed his chances. Two dance groups--Fresh Faces and Hype--were also sent packing.
Finally, in the third round of contestants, some acts were voted in. The performers looked grim when they lined up on stage...tellAvision, Collins Key and KriStef Brothers. It was clear from that lineup that at least tellAvision was going home. Their act had the possibility to present something amazing, but really fell short...for the third time. Both Collins Key (young magician) and KriStef Brothers (amazing head balancers) will be moving forward.
In the final round of eliminations, only two could move forward. Anna Christine, American Hitmen and Branden James lined up on stage. Anna Christine, the 11-year-old singing phenom, and Branden James, the crybaby opera singer, will be moving forward. The rock band American Hitmen saw their chances at winning one million dollars get killed.
Bummer, guys!
