Kroy Biermann of the Atlanta Falcons has officially adopted the children of his real housewife, Kim Zolciak. But, after two years of marriage and two children of their own, does this announcement make the pair too tardy for the party?
The pair married in November of 2011, just six months after the birth of their first child in May. A year later, the couple welcomed into the world their second child. Now, Kim is pregnant with her fifth (and their third) child.
Perhaps it was the right time for Kroy to adopt Kim’s other children--Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 12. Even though they are not his own children, Kroy treats them just as lovingly, as Kim reported to E! News:
"I don't know if I could love anybody else's children as much as Kroy loves the girls. I just don't know if I have it in me."
Kroy also spoke to media outlets about the change the girls have made in his life. The 27-year-old athlete opened up:
"Before Kim and before the girls and before the boys, I lived a pretty regimented life. I'd wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home -- it was pretty normal. Now, my house isn't going to be as clean as it was before, but it's not important. Those things are not important and it's all about prioritizing and understanding."
Kim, however, wasn’t as thoughtful when she described what attracted her to Kroy:
"When I saw his butt, I have never in my life seen a butt like that. I just thought, 'Wow he's got a really cute butt and a million-dollar smile.'”
