While it would seem like pure insanity for American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez to put her reported $300 million net worth on the line just to marry known Instagram cheater, Casper Smart, going ahead and setting aside $20 million for their eventual split doesn't sound too outlandish given her history with marriage and divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, J Lo is looking to spend as much a $3 million on their lavish wedding, but not before her 27-year-old supposed fiancé signs an ironclad prenup, assuring her "Jenny from the Block" money will be safe and sound, no matter how many sexy transsexuals Smart eventually meets on Twitter.
Sure, Jennifer Lopez might be crazy rich, but the" Booty" singing mother of two isn't crazy.
Although it seems a bit of a stretch to imagine that marrying Casper Smart would be anything but a bad idea, a source close to J Lo explains in the May 22, issue of Life & Style that Jenny from the Block has convinced herself she's finally found a keeper, all the same:
"Jen's saying that they'll soon announce her engagement.
"Some friends think marriage would be a disaster, but she says she's never been happier."
The source goes on to describe how despite her love for the man, Lopez is also insisting Casper sign a rock-solid prenup that should leave him with enough money in case things don't work out to keep him from getting greedy -- with $20 million, a house and car provided to him if he ever wants out:
"Casper didn't blink. He said, 'of course.'
"He doesn't have problem being Mr. Jennifer Lopez."
If Jennifer Lopez does wind up walking down the aisle again there is no doubt that the 45-year-old single mom will impress the sighted word with svelte frame all wrapped in white on her big day, but believe it or not, J Lo told People magazine that she didn't get the body she has today by denying herself a little cheat day here and there:
"We're all human. I don't think you should beat yourself up if you make a mistake or if you have a potato chip.
"Everyone wants a cookie or a piece of cake or fried chicken every once in a while.
"It's not about that. It's about consistently and always trying to be better and trying to do well."
So, at least there is hope that you too can get into Jennifer Lopez-shape, even if there is no hope that she will actually be able to make a marriage with a Casper Smart outlast her.
