Kate Middleton, who will soon deliver her first prince or princess, has been ordered by doctors to stay inside. It’s not because of the press frenzy that is currently surrounding the royal baby watch, but, rather, their concern with her health during London’s current heatwave.
Even duchesses have to follow orders sometime. Reports surfaced today claiming that Kate Middleton, who is nine months pregnant, has been given some her very own. Of course, they come from her own medical team.
Turns out things are really heating up in London. And, we don’t mean all of the press that’s been covering Prince William and Catherine’s first child. We’re talking about the actual weather. As temperatures reach the 90s, Kate has been given some special instructions for her final days of pregnancy.
Chiefly, the princess has been ordered to stay inside. Heat can cause a pregnant woman to endure complications with her own health...and that of the baby. For example, not only can high temperatures cause a woman to swell, but it can also cause dehydration, which can cause real problems during labor.
According to the Daily Star, Mrs. Middleton is following the orders. A source close to the soon to be mom, offered up some insight:
"They are taking very careful steps to make sure Kate and the baby are okay in the heatwave. She is suffering in the heat and finds it exhausting. They don't want anything affecting her or the unborn heir."
We’re sure that Kate is getting the very best of treatment and wish her the best in her new quest of motherhood.
