Pregnant Princess Kate Middleton in Labor? Baby Due Date Nears [RUMORS]

Pregnant Princess Kate Middleton may be going into labor any minute now, as the duchess' due date is rapidly approaching. However, it looks like Princess Kate may be having her second baby at an unplanned location, as a super bug has shut down part of the hospital where her delivery was originally scheduled.

The entire world is anxiously awaiting the birth of Princess Kate's second child.

Although little information is known about her upcoming bundle of joy, it has been reported that Princess Kate will be going into labor sometime this weekend.

Princess Kate appears to be making the most of her time while still pregnant, as she was recently spotted engaging in her favorite hobby -- shopping.

According to People, the very pregnant duchess hit up the stores on Monday:

"While royal fans were beginning set up camp outside the doors of St. Mary's Hospital in London on Monday, heavily pregnant Princess Kate hit the shops...The expectant mom made a low-key visit to her local Zara Home in London on Monday afternoon where she bought a selection of home furnishing accessories, as well as some items for Prince George and possibly the new baby too."

Of course, this isn't the only reason that Princess Kate finds herself in the news this week.

New reports suggest that an epidemic is occurring at a ward within the hospital where Kate is scheduled to give birth. According to Mirror, a superbug is to blame for the shutdown:

"A superbug has closed a ward at the hospital where Prince William and Kate's second baby is due to be born...A surgical unit at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, has been shut down after eight patients were infected with potentially deadly CPE (carbapenemase producing enterobacteriaceae)."
