Captain America actor Chris Evans took a moment out of his busy schedule to give a very special salute to a young boy in the hospital. Evans sent out a video message to a young boy named Owen who suffers from hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), a rare congenital heart defect that cause half of his heart to be undeveloped. This good dead comes shortly after Evans and his Avengers co-star, Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) made some sexist remarks about Scarlett Johansson’s character, The Black Widow.

Chris Evans has also released an apology for making sexist remarks about the fictitious character The Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johannson, while speaking with Digital Spy.
Evans and Renner both later issued an appology to Entertainment Weekly, with Evans stateing:
“Yesterday we were asked about the rumors that Black Widow wanted to be in a relationship with both Hawkeye and Captain America. We answered in a very juvenile and offensive way that rightfully angered some fans. I regret it and sincerely apologize.”
Jeremy Renner also apologized,stating:
“I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone. It was not meant to be serious in any way. Just poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour.”
