Tonight is the night we've all been waiting for. ABC will be airing an interview between Bruce Jenner and Diane Sawyer, where the former Olympian is rumored to reveal that he is undergoing a sex change to become a trans woman. The event, which is streaming live via ABC's app, is certain to be a ratings juggernaut. This is especially true after photos recently surfaced of Bruce Jenner wearing a dress.
Well, that didn't take long.
Just two days after Daily News published photos of Bruce Jenner dressed as a woman outside of his Malibu home, the salacious NY-based newspaper has pulled the images from their website.
All that remains now is a description of what Jenner was wearing, as New York Daily News tells readers:
"Bruce Jenner, the thrice-married father of six who's set to reveal he's transitioning to a woman, was spotted wearing a floor-length striped dress Tuesday outside his Malibu home...Jenner, 65, was photographed sporting the long-sleeved black-and-white dress, with a slit from the knee to the hem, while stretching and smoking a cigarette on the mansion."
According to a number of reports, Bruce won't be appearing as a woman on tonight's ABC special, much to the disappointment of fans everywhere.
Instead, the two-hour special will be seen as a farewell to Bruce living life as a woman. As far as revealing details about his new life as a woman, TMZ tells readers that Bruce is keeping tight lipped about the situation:
"We're told Jenner views the show as 'a farewell to Bruce.' He will 'present himself' as a woman publicly for the first time. But it's not about his look -- it's about his mental state and his journey...Our sources say Bruce does NOT reveal his new name, or dress like a woman on camera. Nevertheless, we're told Bruce sees the interview as the most significant event associated with his sex change..."
