Tonight, NBC’s hit The Mysteries of Laura is back with another all new episode. Tonight’s Mystery takes Laura to the NCAA Draft. The series has yet to be renewed by NBC, but stands a pretty strong chance at surviving cancellation. Speaking of cancellation, Debra Messing recently opened up about her time on Will & Grace, wishing it didn’t so soon.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Mysteries of Laura, titled “The Mystery of the Dodgy Draft," reads:
“The team go inside the world of NCAA basketball while investigating the murder of a teacher's aide, and Laura must balance this case with a huge personal crisis.”
The series has yet to be renewed for a second season but it is entirely likely that the show will be. That would be good news for Debra Messing who is still lamenting the loss of Will & Grace.
Recently, Debra Messing spoke to Huffpost Live about how, in retrospect, she thinks that Will & Grace ended too soon:
"I guess I would change the fact that we stopped [the show] after eight years. It was such a happy time, and we were all really exhausted by that point and it was the right thing to do at that time, but now obviously time has passed, and I watch the show with my son who laughs at it and I think it would've been really great to do it a few more years."
What do you think about Debra Messing’s comments? Should Will & Grace lasted longer? Do you want to see The Mysteries of Laura renewed for a second season? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom of the page.
Be sure to check out the all new episode The Mysteries of Laura, tonight at 8:00 p.m. eastern on NBC.
