New CW ‘Originals’ Spoilers: Mikael Sebastian Roché Talks Death After Klaus Joseph Morgan White Oak Stake Killing

Spoiler Alert: Tonight, the hit CW Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals is all new, after last week’s killer episode. That is right, last week we said goodbye to Mikael (Sebastian Roché), who met his end, and the pointy part of the White Oak Stake, as the hands of his adopted son, Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Now, Roché is opening up about his characters death.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Originals, titled “When the Levee Breaks,” reads:

“Dahlia gives Klaus and Hayley a deadline for turning over baby Hope, and they each devise dangerous plans in their fight against her. Meanwhile, Freya gives Rebekah and Elijah an ultimatum; and Marcel considers how to best deal with Klaus' erratic behavior.”

Last week we say Klaus (Joseph Morgan) kill his father, Mikael (Sebastian Roché). Recently, Roché opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about his characters demise:

"[The Originals producers] Michael Narducci and Matt Hastings called me in advance to tell me I was going to shuffle off my mortal coil, to quote Hamlet. I thought it was really classy of them, and was really emblematic of the relationship we've had over the years. It's amazing -- three or four years ago, when I auditioned for the role of Mikael, I never would have thought I'd be lasting into the year 2015. It's been a great run. He had such a prominent role in the family and in the series because of the nature of the character and the nature of the part, being the patriarch of the Mikaelson family."
