Game of Thrones is all new this weekend. Check the plot preview below to see what will happen to the Seven Kingdoms this week. Where fans of the books might already know what is in store, they too will soon be in the dark. It was recently revealed that the HBO show will end before George R.R. Martin finishes the books.
The official plot synopsis for this week’s all new episode of Game of Thrones, titled “The House of Black and White,” reads:
“Arya arrives in Braavos; Brienne and Podrick find danger while traveling; Cersei worries about Myrcella in Dorne when Ellaria Sand seeks revenge for Oberyn's death; Jon is tempted by Stannis.”
Fans of the books can soon expect to be in the dark regarding plot. Not only is the show deviating more and more from the books, but the show will actually spoil the ending of the books, by ending before the books are released.
Recently, showrunner David Benioff confirmed that the show will end before the books are released, telling a panel at Oxford Union at the university, saying (via Mashable) :
"Luckily, we’ve been talking about this with George for a long time, ever since we saw this could happen, and we know where things are heading. And so we’ll eventually, basically, meet up at pretty much the same place where George is going; there might be a few deviations along the route, but we’re heading towards the same destination. "
