Lady Gaga New Music 2013: 'ARTPOP' Release Date Following ArtRave Party November 10th [UPDATE]

Fans of Lady Gaga have new music to look forward to in 2013. The pop star will be releasing her new album, ARTPOP, in November. One day before its official release date, Gaga will be attending and hosting a celebration/exhibit dubbed ArtRave.

ArtRave, according to Gaga's latest Facebook post, will be a gigantic party and exhibition held on November 10, 2013. Attendees will be able to view "Haus of Gaga" projects as well as collaborations with Marina Abramovic, Robert Wilson, Jeff Koons and others.

The official release date of ARTPOP was made via Gaga's Facebook page. Fans learned that a unique app would be bundled with the purchase of the album, however, specifics of the software were not released.

Her newest album will be available for purchase on November 11, 2013. Don't worry fans, you will be able to pre-order your very own copy on September 1. This is probably a smart idea, considering it is one of the year's most anticipated albums.

Until then, we'll try to break down her latest (and maybe craziest) Facebook post:

“Built by TechHAUS, the technological branch of HAUS OF GAGA, the app itself is a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion, and technology with a new worldwide community — ‘the auras.’”

It appears that the app will have social networking capabilities, as evidenced by the following post:

“Altering the human experience with social media, we bring ARTCulture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition.”

Wow! Also, Huh?

While not a lot is known about Lady Gaga’s new album, ARTPOP, fans did receive some insight about what Gaga’s new songs would be like in 2013, via producer Zedd. We have the highlights of his recent interview.

Zedd, the German DJ who is producing her upcoming album, provided fans with the most details to date. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the artist commented thusly:

"I'm really, really excited for people to hear what we came up with. I just really can't imagine they would not like it, to just say it straight up. I think the stuff we've made is pretty f--cking cool. It's amazing, because does not have to please anyone, and she is who she is. Her first idea of how we should approach the music was just to be completely open--nothing is too crazy. Whatever is dope is dope. We do whatever we want, and we don't have to make a song that's three minutes and 30 seconds just to fit the radio."
