Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem to always find themselves in the center of controversy. Now, it appears that Kimye's first baby, North West, is doing the same. Six hospital workers were fired for illegally accessing North's hospital records and potentially leaking them to media outlets. Kim has responded to the handling of the situation but Kanye has remained silent, following the release of his hit record, Yeezus.
In an unthinkable and utterly tacky move, some members of the staff at Cedars-Sinai Hospital (where Kimye gave birth) leaked the birth certificate of North West to media outlets. This is a huge violation of company and healthcare practices. As a result, the hospital has fired five staff members and one student researcher for illegally accessing the documents.
Kim and Kanye weren't the only victims of snooping, as the L.A. Times reports:
"Cedars-Sinai officials said in a statement that 14 patient records were "inappropriately accessed" between June 18 and June 24. Six people were fired over the breach: four were employees of community physicians who have medical staff privileges at the hospital, one was a medical assistant employed by Cedars-Sinai, and one was an unpaid student research assistant."
According to Extra:
"Kim was reportedly notified of the issue by the hospital and is happy with the way Cedars handled the situation."

Despite releasing his new hit album, Yeezus, Kanye West has not spoken out about the birth of his first child, North. Kim, to a large degree, has also kept silent on the matter. A source close to the family, however, gave an interview with E! News, where she claimed:
"Nori is doing great. She's such a happy and smiley baby and she sleeps incredibly well at night. Obviously, she's not sleeping through the night just yet, but she's getting there. Mom and dad play with her all day at Kris Jenner's house. They have a constant stream of friends and family stopping in to check on her. The house is always full of visitors. Everyone's coming to her right now."
Shortly after the birth, friends of Kim claim that she was overwhelmed with the prospects of motherhood. That anxiety and fear seems to have disappeared, as another source told the gossip site:
"She's loving motherhood and all her fears have gone away. Even Kourtney Kardashian, who thought it would be challenging, is shocked how well Kim is transitioning."
The world is still waiting to see baby North West for the first time. Many people believe that might occur on Kris', Kim's mom, new show. When Kris was asked about it recently, she coyly said that fans would have to wait and see.
