Apparently, a spin-off with former co-star Kim Zolciak may not be enough to get Glee cast member, NeNe Leakes to agree to return to Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta after Season 7's tumultuous finale reunion. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Cinderella singer made demands for another raise to her already sizable salary if the powers that be want her back in 2015. In a related story, Phaedra Parks is now praising NeNe for her mature behavior during last week's confrontation with thirsty rookie Claudia Jordan and calling the Deal or No Deal model out as the real feud starting instigator.
Watch What Happens Live! host and Real Housewives reunion moderator, Andy Cohen, insists that NeNe Leakes didn't wind up walking out this year as previously rumored by the internet tabloids, but that doesn't mean the finale rendezvous wasn't traumatic for her all the same (via Wet Paint):
"There was no storm off, but something very dramatic happened when Dr. Jeff came out.
"The interesting thing is that it was really dramatic but they were listening to each other -- they got in plenty of fights and there was a lot of drama -- but to me they did the most listening and taking things in that they've done at any Atlanta reunion."
Despite whatever breakthrough they seemed to have on the day of taping, a source close to NeNe informed Radar Online that Leakes told the producers she was going to need, yet another, pay increase if she was going to sign up for something like that again in Season 8:
"NeNe absolutely hated Housewives this season...She hated almost all of the other women and wanted off the show entirely.
"They want NeNe and so they offered her a HUGE raise.
"She already makes the most and now they're giving her even more money per episode and her bonuses will be bigger too,"
Not only is Leakes the most popular Atlanta Housewife amongst the fans, NeNe also has the most friends on the show.
NeNe's bestie and longtime ally on the TV show, Phaedra Parks, is now letting cast mates like Claudia Jordan know in her Bravo blog that they also need to better respect Leakes and her time (via Inquisitr):
"NeNe came all the way from New York just to support my event, and that was really above-and-beyond anything I would expect anyone to do, so I was very appreciative.
"It was for Claudia to initiate that conversation at my event... NeNe was [respectful] in not wanting to engage in such nonsense at the event."
With any and all conversations seeming to revolve around NeNe Leakes in one way or another, it seems like Bravo producers had better just get used to cutting her bigger checks year-after-year.
