Tonight AMC’s hit Revolutionary War spy drama, Turn: Washington’s Spies premieres its second season. This season brings us America’s most famous traitor, Benedict Arnold, played by Owain Yeoman, who is being recruited by Tom Hiddleston double, JJ Field’s character John André.Check out the plot preview for a look at tonight’s episode.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new Season 2 premiere episode of Turn, titled “Thoughts of a Free Man; Hard Boiled,” reads:
“In the two-episode Season 2 opener, Abe is determined to infiltrate New York City. Meanwhile, Simcoe escapes his punishment, and John Andre attempts to seduce Peggy Shippen in Philadelphia.”
The show has been big hit with Revolutionary War buffs at Colonial Williamsburg. Some of the show’s scenes have been filmed at the the site, which is just fine with president and CEO Mitchell B. Reiss, according to a press release (via PR Newswire)”
