Although the tabloids were full of stories that Sandra Bullock had a new boyfriend in Mad TV funny man Michael McDonald just a few short weeks ago, it now sees that the tales of their dating might have been a bit exaggerated. According to the latest gossip news updates, The Gravity Oscar winner is much too focused on her up-coming adoption of a new brother or sister for son, Louis, to worry about adding a new man to her life. As if adding a new baby to the family wasn't enough to worry about in 2015, George Clooney's bestie is also having to deal with a deranged stalker that seemed to have convinced himself the he was her husband before breaking in to her house to talk to her about it last June.
Sure, Sandra Bullock and Michael McDonald are friends, but if the Mad TV comedian really does want to take things to the next level, he is going to have to wait for his The Heat co-star to finalize her latest adoption.
One source close to Sandy explained in the April 20, issue of In Touch Weekly that Bullock has her hands so full with the logistics of adopting another baby right now that she can hardly think of anything else:
"Sandra hasn't been giving a lot of attention to dating, simply because she doesn't have the time, energy or emotional space for that right now...She's set to publicly debut her new child in the coming weeks."
According to the informant, Sandra made sure she took her time -- dotting all her i's and crossing her t's -- just like she did when she adopted Louis, shortly after her split from ex-husband, Jesse James, back in 2010:
"She went through the same adoption agency because she had such a good experience with them and didn't try to fast-track things the second time around, either.
"She's been laying the groundwork for hunkering down at home, getting her house ready and babyproofed and spending time nesting with Louis."
Unfortunately, Sandra probably did have to tear herself away from the adoption proceedings this week to follow what is happening in the case of her alleged stalker, Joshua Corbett, who was just recently charged with breaking into the Bullock's Hollywood home June 8.
Although, much has been made of Corbett's home arsenal of illegal weapons and ammunition, his defense attorney, Paul Takakijan, insists that his client's supposedly threatening letter -- while identifying himself as Sandra husband -- really didn't mentioning anything other than his desire to love the movie star (via Daily Mail):
"The love letter that Corbett carried with him professed nothing but love and admiration.
"There is nothing in there about harming her. The people are trying to make more of the case than there is."
Raising those kids in Austin, Texas sounds like a better and better idea every single day.
