Pregnant Kate Middleton in Labor--Royal Baby Due Date and Boy or Girl Gender Revealed Soon [UPDATE]???

The entire world is fixated on the very pregnant Kate Middleton. Reports are circulating that claim she is currently in labor. Will the baby's due date and gender soon be revealed...or will the world be kept waiting to learn if the little royal is a boy or girl?

Last night, there was a flood of tweets claiming that helicopters had arrived at Kensington Palace. Why does this make big news?

Because it substantiates rumors that Prince William has darted back to the palace, so that he can view the birth of his first child. The helicopter, which was on standby to bring William to the hospital so that he could make his new boy or girl's due date, reportedly vanished last night.

Prince William, who bravely serves as a search and rescue pilot, may be heading for his beautiful (and very pregnant) wife, right now. Perez Hilton claims that a helicopter that was on standby specifically to carry William to the delivery room, has taken off.

If Mrs. Middleton is giving birth, then she would be two days ahead of schedule, according to most media outlets. The specific due date, however, remains unknown to the public. This uncertainty has become a big business in London and Las Vegas, inspiring betters to gamble on the upcoming birth date.

That's not all they're betting on, as USA Today reports:

"As the expected due date of Kate Middleton and Prince William's baby nears, British bookies are taking bets on everything, from the baby's gender, to its hair color and weight."

Numerous publications are at odds with each other, too. For example, Wales Online is making the claim that Mrs. Middleton's date isn't for another day:

"Kate Middleton was forced to make her pregnancy public when she was admitted to hospital in December with severe morning sickness, the announcement was later mate that her official due date was July 13."

The same publication went on to claim that Mrs. Middleton, "is planning to go through natural labour when she gives birth to the royal baby, and the royal couple do not currently know the gender of the baby that the whole nation is talking about."

Wow! Could Kate really be considering natural child birth?

It's not that foreign of a concept for the holistic princess to consider. There has also been a ton of speculation that the princess will also be breastfeeding the child. While this probably doesn't strike you as odd, it is rare for the royals to partake in such practices. Hollywood Life reports that:

"Kate plans on emulating the late princess is through breastfeeding! While royals traditionally chose not to breastfeed their children, Princess Diana was reportedly the first royal to breastfeed her first son William. If Kate does decide to breastfeed her newborn, which author Daisy Goodwin suggests she will do during an interview on 20/20: Bringing Up Baby: Royal Edition, she will be following in Princess Diana’s footsteps."

It appears that, much like the case with Diana, the Queen seems to be distancing herself from the princess. The Queen of England has officially stated that she will not be attending the birth of Kate's child. This has struck many as being strange.

Others say that this is a common practice, as the Queen will be on holiday. The matriarch will be midway through her summer vacation at the Balmoral estate in Scotland and has no plans of cutting her royal vacation short.
