Things are not looking so great for Andrew Garfield (Social Network) and Emma Stone (Zombieland). The Amazing Spider-Man actor and his Spider-Gwen girlfriend, are reportedly on a break, following the rumored cancellation of their Sony Comic Book film franchise. With Marvel taking a hold of the Spider-Man name, it looks we will have a different Spidey actor swinging into the role for rumored debut appearance Captain America 3: Civil War and subsequent Avengers films, Avengers 3: Infinity War parts one and two.
One unnamed source, reportedly close to the couple, spoke to US Weekly about Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield taking a break from each other:
"They had been fighting a lot and they hadn't seen each other. They have both been working but they weren’t getting along.”
A second insider told the publication that Andrew Garfield is currently focusing on his new Martin Scorsese movie, Silence in Taiwan:
“He’s very in his character. He's lost weight, and he's in a dark place mentally for his performance and he's not boyfriend material right now."
