Halle Berry, who is pregnant, is set to marry her lover, Olivier Martinez this weekend. The two are set to marry in Paris on Saturday, according to sources.
This wedding has been a long time coming, as the couple first announced their engagement over a year ago, in March 2012. Since then, they have remained fairly quiet about their nuptials.
That silence was broken on Thursday when it was announced that Olivier and Halle, with Berry's 5-year-old daughter accompanying them, have boarded a jet set for Paris, where the wedding is believed to be held.
The beautiful actress announced earlier in the year that she and Olivier are expecting their first child together. Berry, who is now 46 (but still looks 30), already has one daughter of her own, Nahla.
This is 47-year-old Olivier's first wedding, however, it will mark Halle's third marriage. This comes as a surprise to many as Halle has consistently said she would never remarry since her last divorce. Berry had to endure a prolonged custody battle with her last ex-husband, Gabriel Aubry, and was left jaded by the emotional toll.
The two have been dating for about three years, after having met on the set of Dark Tide. They have been virtually inseparable ever since.
The couple was last spotted in LAX, awaiting a plane to carry them to France. Mr. Olivier is actually from Paris, so it makes total sense that the pair would be wedding in the city of love.
Despite calling France home, Mr. Olivier is on record as saying that his child with Berry would definitely be born on American soil.
