Tonight Fox’s New Girl is all new with a brand new episode. Recently, it was announced that Zooey Deschanel was pregnant and engaged to her new boyfriend Jacob Pechenik. Now her ex-husband, Ben Gibbard is opening about their divorce and his new Death Cab for Cutie album Kintsugi, and if any of the songs are about Zooey.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of New Girl, titled “Par 5,” reads:
“Jess accompanies Fawn to a charity golf tournament, where the vice principal's attempts to make a good impression prove subpar. Meanwhile, Winston meets an attractive woman but needs to lie about being a cop.”
Recently, Ben Gibbard opened up to Billboard about the new Death Cab For Cutie album that is rumored to featured songs about Zooey Deschanel:
“I’m not going to change the way I’ve always written for fear of people correctly or incorrectly assigning a name and face to these songs. I’ve always written about my life and the lives of people around me, and how everything intersects.”
Gibbard went on to add that he combines many people into his songs:
“The person I’m singing to is an amalgamation of people I came across living in Los Angeles. “Being around people in entertainment who are fairly well-known, I noticed all these neuroses and psychoses.”
