Time for another update in the life of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, who is still serving out her 15-month prison sentence. Giudice and family recently posed for a family photo behind bars. The picture, which made the cover of a popular tabloid, has her fellow cast mates speaking out.
Despite a number of reports claiming that Teresa Giudice is breaking down in prison, the reality star looked happy and healthy as she posed with the family for the cover of Us Weekly's latest print edition.
Although some have criticized Teresa's appearance in the photo, Teresa, herself, is more than pleased. In fact, her attorney James J. Leonard, Jr. tells E! News that Teresa was actually brought to tears:
"I met with Teresa today and brought the magazine to show her. She was extremely happy with it...She got very emotional and actually started to cry when she saw the photos of Joe at home with the girls."
Of course, not everyone was pleased with Teresa's decision to sale her family photo for profit.
Fellow housewife Amber Marchese had some criticisms for Giudice, although Amber was reserved in her comments. Marchese told Real Mr. Housewife that she was against Teresa using the children to make money, but it may come down to her family's financial survival (via Inquistr):
"I am really torn to the right answer to that and I am going to err on the side of, thank God I am not in that position. In one aspect, I think they should protect the privacy of the children at all cost. Some things are better left private so no judgments or ridicule could be made. On the other hand, this could be about survival. Doing what needs to be done to financially help the family."
What do you think about the latest reports? Did Teresa exploit her own children for money? Are the Giudices going broke?
