Anyone who saw the happy couple at the Oscars might be shocked that Burberry supermodel and her Elephant Man boyfriend, Bradly Copper, have split, but word has it they were actually faking it at the 2015 Academy Awards last month. According to the latest gossip news updates, Cara Delevingne's bestie really broke up with the Hangover actor back in January, but decided not to make anything public until well after awards season. In addition to their enormous difference in age, Brad and Suki are said to have separated due to their different career goals. Waterhouse, who was just cast as the lead in the new Keanu Reeves movie, Bad Batch, wants to focus on her transition from modeling to acting, and Cooper, who is already a well-established actor of stage and screen, is said to be devoting his attention to dating Joy co-star, Jennifer Lawrence.
Although they looked every bit the picture of happiness walking the 2015 Academy Awards' red carpet, People magazine reports that Suki Waterhouse and Bradley Cooper actually split up weeks prior to the big event:
"The couple ended their relationship before the Oscars in January but remained friends and attended the award show together."
One source close to the breakup claims in the April 6, issue of OK! Magazine, that Bradley and Suki didn't implode so much as slowly drift apart after two years of dating:
"They're at different stage in their lives.
"She's so young and has so much ahead of her...She feels slowing down now would be detrimental.
"They agreed they were headed in different directions."
While Suki is headed for movie stardom in her right, Bradley was reportedly headed for Joy cast mate Jennifer Lawrence.
A behind-the-scenes eyewitness told the Globe that the onset connection between the two has been undeniable even if the status of their tryst has not (via CelebDirtyLaundry):
"There is a real spark between them.
"They are always whispering about something, making each other laugh, and disappearing off together."
Waterhouse also has a new man in her as well in the form of iconic Hollywood action star Keanu Reeves.
Suki has joined John Wick as the lead in Ana Lily Amirpour new movie, The Bad Batch, claims The Hollywood Reporter, and although old enough to be Waterhouse father, it never seemed to bother her in the past.
