Mindy Kaling recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly’s Jessica Shaw and Melissa Maerz on SiriusXM Radio about the possibility of the show getting canceled:
“I just don’t think this is the end for (the cast). I feel me and the writers have so many stories to tell, and I just have a good feeling that it’s going to come back.”
Kaling went on to detail some of the stories she wants the to tell:
“Danny as a father is really something to think about writing--I love that. And Mindy on maternity leave, Mindy on the playground with other moms. There’s so many things! And I feel like the way we see it portrayed on TV--to have it be funny and not have it be tragic--I’m really excited.”
