Tatum Channing may be a lot of things but the next Larry King he is not. During a recent interview with friend and One Big Happy actor Nick Zano, Jenna Dewan's Foxcatcher hubby mused that in a perfect world he and Zano would be able to show TV producer/talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, their temporary matching vaginas. More that talk of his-and-his vajays, Channing absolutely loves Magic Mike XXL co-star Joe Manganiello's stripper dance moves -- warning that the True Blood werewolf is going to blow minds in the upcoming sequel. Channing's silly off-camera persona certainly hasn't hurt his box office appeal. According to the latest gossip news updates, Jonah Hill's 22 Jump Street police partner is going to be joining the Dan Aykroyd associated Ghostbusters 3, which is scheduled for release following Pail Feig's movie featuring an all-female cast.
Proving that he couldn't be more different the brooding character he played in Foxcatcher, Channing Tatum couldn't wait to ask buddy Nick Zano something ridiculous during their Interview Magazine convo.
Instead of learning towards questions that had to do with the art of acting or his views on current affairs, Channing went more meta -- asking his friend if he would actually "grow a vagina" for a day is he was ever somehow afforded the opportunity (via Entertainment Tonight):
"Sure. How do you not? Let's do it at the same time."
Reacting as though he only brought up the quandary to ultimately answer it himself, Tatum then launched into a ridiculous rant about how he would take the thing over to Ellen's so she could work it into one of the new projects she's producing:
"I would totally do that with you.
"I'd have matching vajays...I think we should take that to [One Big Happy producer] Ellen [DeGeneres] as a weird recurring dream sequence -- just me and you comparing vaginas."
As excited as Channing was at the idea of oneday showing Ellen his hoohah, the Step Up star was just as passionate about Joe Manganiello's new Magic Mike XXL dance moves.
Although Channing was nothing less than impressive in the trailer for the new sequel, he told Entertainment Tonight that Manganiello's moves practically defied logic (via People):
"It is terrifyingly unreal when he dances.
"He's going to blow people's minds in this movie!"
Speaking of blown minds, Deadline recently broke the news that Paul Feig maybe directing his own all-female lead Ghostbusters sequel, but the Bridesmaids director isn't getting the keys to the franchise so to speak.
Word has it that while Paul is getting his movie, Sony is also going to be making a Dan Aykroyd associated Ghostbusters 3 that is going to be more in line with the previous films:
"This is being put together even as the studio moves to the start line with a Ghostbusters reboot that will be directed by Feig and star his Bridesmaids leads Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, and Saturday Night Live stand outs Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon."
According to the website, Ayroryd's original Ghostbuster collaborator, Ivan Reitman, is also hoping to sign Magic Mike to the new cast:
"The hope is for Tatum to play one of the Ghostbusters in this film.
"The idea came from Pearce, who honed it the Russo Brothers, Tatum's team and Reitman."
If Dan Aykroyd could grow a vagina for a day do you think he would show it to Ellen or is he more of a Rosie O'Donnell man?
