There was no winner for this week’s Powerball lottery drawing, meaning the all new, March 21, drawing has risen once again. Check the report below to see how much you could win this week.
The official Powerball lottery news info crawl is currently reporting on the results of last week’s drawing:
“There were no jackpot winners for Wednesday's drawing... The next drawing will be Saturday, March 21st, 2015.”
That means that the all new total for this weekend’s game have risen to a earth shattering $50 million with an estimated cash value option of $32.6 million.
Recently the Powerball lottery game gave away $136 million prize to one lucky player in New York. However, at the time of this report, no one has come forward to claim the big prize.
The official Powerball lottery website is reporting on the expiration dates of the tickets:
“The Universe is decaying and nothing lasts forever. Ticket expiration periods vary from state to state - from 90 days to one year. They may also change from time to time. The back of your ticket will often give the expiration period for your state. If it is not on the back of your ticket, you might check with your state lottery by using the map. For obvious reasons, we don't want to give you wrong information about the time frame for cashing tickets with your lottery.
“In rare cases, your elected officials will change the expiration period (sometimes they run out of other stuff to vote on). They may shorten it even though you may find an old brochure or old ticket stock with a longer claim period. Often the lottery will honor your ticket in such a case, but if you plan to wait longer than 90 days to claim a big prize, you might just call up the lottery or go to the online site and double check on the expiration period.”
