It seems a little strange given that director David Ayer hasn't quite completed the screenplay, but Dallas Buyer's Club Oscar winner Jared Leto has already shaved his ZZ Top-like beard and dyed his hair blonde for his upcoming role as the Joker in the new Suicide Squad movie. According to the latest gossip news updates, Ayers hasn't even got the script finalized, but that didn't stop him from posting a picture of the 30 Seconds to Mars singer's new doo to Instagram. In a related story, Fashion Police's accused racist and wife to E! anchor husband Bill, Giuiana Rancic, is reportedly claiming that back in the day she once dated Leto in her new tell-all about her life and career.

It was a sad day for all of Jared Leto's lumbersexual fans at the beginning of the month when Suicide Squad director David Ayer revealed the Requiem for a Dream actor's return to a more subdued hairstyle via Twitter:

Jared has since taken the look a couple of steps further, however -- dying his hair platinum blonde and completely shaving his eyebrows.

There is no telling what Jared Leto looked like way back when he and E! network personality Giuliana Rancic supposedly dated.

A source close to the disgraced Fashion Police star explained to Radar Online that although G certainly plans to reveal their shared past in her new tell-all, there is surprisingly little to reveal about the short time she spent with My So Called Life era Leto:

"Giuliana's sister Monica was dating Shannon Leto, Jared's older brother and 30 Seconds To Mars bandmate.

"Then Monica was dating Shannon, the four of them went on a double date

"This was before Giuliana was on television. I don't think it went any further than a date, but who wouldn't want to brag about going out with Jared Leto?"

While she may seem like the most stereotypical of WASPs these days, the informant claims that Rancic and the wild front man had a lot more in common when they were just kids:

"Giuliana was no stranger to the party scene, despite being underage.

"She says she and her sister used to sneak into nightclubs when they were teenagers.

"It's hard to believe, but she was a bad-ass!"

Hardly sounds like anything that would make a Hilton blush.
