Keeping Up with the Kardashians has returned to E! for another season, however one big star is absent -- Rob Kardashian. According to a number of new articles, this could have some consequences for the hit reality show. These latest claims come after reports that Rob may have been stalking a model he wished to date, as well as the reality star's very public weight gain.
Fans of the show were disappointed to learn that Rob would not be prominently featured on this season of Kardashians.
However, there could be bigger ramifications for the reality show, other than disappointed viewers.
One of these, Cosmopolitan tells readers, is that the show now appears even faker than it was already perceived:
"There's nothing real about reality TV, and KUWTK is no exception...But Rob's departure disrupts the blissful ignorance required to enjoy reality TV. The producers' choice to ignore Rob's personal issues (despite them being so public) reinforces that they, and the family, are picking and choosing what they put forward. To leave out North West (a baby) or Kanye (who is in charge of his own destiny and/or the world) is one thing..."
Of course, this isn't the only reason that Rob Kardashian finds himself in the news.
After weeks of reports that Rob has been trying (unsuccessfully) to hook up with a supermodel, it seems like Kardashian may have his sights set on another beauty -- Scott Disick.
Kourtney Kardashian recently posted a screen grab of Scott and Rob's phone conversation, where Rob asked Scott (totally jokingly) if he wanted to hook up, as CeleBuzz tells readers:
"Kourtney Kardashian better watch her back! Her brother, Rob Kardashian, is coming after her man...A text message conversation has been revealed, and it shows Rob asking Scott Disick if he wants to sleep with him."
What do you think about the latest reports? Will fans tune out now that Rob isn't on the show? Should he have been included?
