Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon News: House Net Worth Divorce Feud Leads to New 2015 Lawsuit? [GOSSIP UPDATE]

It looks like we have finally seen our last Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon happy family photo posted to Instagram as their divorce drama seemingly takes a new turn for the worst. According to the latest gossip news update the "All I Want for Christmas" Rockefeller Center yodeler is being sued by the America's Got Talent host over the 2015 sale of their once shared Beverly Hills home. Word has it that Mariah's soon-to-be ex-husband is upset that the "Hero" singer's business manager, Michael Kane, sold the Bel-Air mansion for $9 million without ever consulting him or his team beforehand.

Despite their promises to keep the proceeds amicable moving into their divorce proceedings, Nick Cannon has reportedly filed a new lawsuit against his almost-ex-wife, Mariah Carey.

Cannon's contention, reports TMZ, is that he believes Carey's business manager to have purposefully sold their home for an amount far less than they had previously agreed upon without contacting him ahead of time:

"Cannon says he never authorized the $9 million sale of the Bel-Air home he and Carey used to share, and believes biz manager Michael Kane was dealing exclusively with her people on the deal.

"He says he didn't find out about this until after the fact."

Despite the fact that the house was originally placed on the market for $12,995,000 in February of last year, Kane claims that there is absolutely no merit to the claims made in Cannon's "frivolous" lawsuit (via NY Daily News):

"[It's] clearly a desperate act from a sadly desperate man."

According to Variety, although the market price of the home was always thought to be fairly inflated, the new owners are still getting quite the deal on their new sprawling Beverley Hills palace:

"There are formal living and dining rooms, a double-height foyer and a home theater as well as a game room, recording studio, indoor basketball court and a so-called Aspen Room, a capacious, 32-foot-long rustic-luxe, stone-floored entertainment lounge with massive field-stone fireplace, full bar, backyard access and long views over the Stone Canyon Reservoir."

Now...why does Cannon want to leave Mariah Carey again?
