Recently, Freddie Highmore opened up about the possibility of being cast as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Disney/Sony reboot,Captain America 3: Civil War and Avengers 3.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new Season 3 premiere episode of the Bates Motel, titled “A Death in the Family,” reads:
“Norma sets boundaries with Norman in the Season 3 premiere.”
Freddie Highmore is fan favorite to play the role of Spider-Man in the upcoming Disney/Sony reboot including Captain America 3: Civil War and Avengers 3. Recently, Highmore spoke to IGN about the new episode:
"Obviously I would love to be considered. That would be fantastic. I guess we'll just see how things go.”
Freddie Highmore went on to discuss the appeal of the playing Peter Parker:
“You always feel like you can identify with him. He's that kind of guy at school who wasn't perhaps in the really cool group, but who was extremely intelligent and managed to find confidence in being Spider-Man -- in this other side to his life...I was going to try and make a comparison between Spider-Man and Norman Bates," the actor laughed. "But I'm not sure...it's probably best to stay clear of that one."
