Good news, country music fans. Faith Hill is recovering nicely from the neck surgery she underwent after sustaining an injury. It turns out her personal life is fairing just as well as her health, because rumors that she was going to be divorcing husband Tim McGraw were also refuted.
Over the years, Faith Hill has become America's sweetheart. The country music singer, who is as beautiful as she is talented, has won over the hearts of millions of Americans.
Perhaps that's why fans expressed such concern after Faith Hill was spotted with a pronounced scar along her neck at this year's Oscars.
Twitter went into a fury to figure out what happened to the country music sensation, and now People has answers.
According to the popular entertainment publication, Mrs. Hill required surgery for an injury that she sustained years ago:
"The country star, 47, had neck surgery last month to correct damage stemming from an injury a couple of years ago...The procedure, known as an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, is generally used to relieve pain from a herniated disc...Hill first had surgery for the issue in 2011 in the back of her neck...that her recovery is going well with the aid of physical therapy."
That's not the only reason that Faith finds herself in the news.
After years of reports that she and husband Tim McGraw would be divorcing, a new article suggests that those claims couldn't be further from the truth.
In fact, their marriage has never been better.
One source tells Closer Weekly that Tim and Faith are pretty much on a second honeymoon:
"In the past few years, Tim has become more serious about his life, and it's helped them grow closer...parents to three teen daughters -- Gracie, Maggie and Audrey -- are enjoying a second honeymoon of sorts."
