Batman: Arkham Origins is generating a ton of online rumors. Discussions have circulated concerning who will be in the cast, what villains will be present and whether or not Wii console users can even play the game. We’ll break down what’s already known...like the release date and trailer...and help you determine if this is the right game for you (Spoiler Alert: It probably is).
Origins is the third game in the highly popular Arkham series. While the past two games have generated a great deal of press, owners of the franchise felt the need to spice things up a bit.
The third installment of the series will be produced by Warner Bros Montreal instead of Rocksteady Studios, which produced the first two games.
While this does have some fans concerned, many feel that the studio will do a good job in producing the upcoming game. Warner Bros management has certainly put Wii U users at ease, with his recent announcement that the game will be available on Nintendo’s latest console.
The game will be released this fall on all major consoles. You can get your copy on October 25. But, if you can’t wait till then to check out the action, feel free to view the official trailer below.
Several villains have been confirmed to appear in the upcoming release. Black Mask, Alberto Falcone and the Penguin will all be making an appearance.
One person who definitely won’t be appearing in the third Arkham will be voice actor, Kevin Conroy. This comes as a bit of a surprise for longtime fans. Conroy has been the voice behind Batman for the past 21 years.
