Year after year rumors surface that the current ABC Bachelor is hoping against hope that he will be cast in the following season of the networks uber-popular Dancing with the Stars series, but Season 17 lead Sean Lowe insists it's a receipt for disaster. According to the latest gossip news updates, Catherine Giudici's graceful husband, blames the TV show for creating a whole lot of unnecessary tension in their relationship during his time on the program. Even though Lowe understands how difficult it can be on the eventual winners of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Sean says that he thinks it was poor form for Andi Dorfman and and Season 10 fiance Josh Murray to pretend to be so in love at Chris Soules' Season 19 premiere only to split days later.
It looks like Chris Soules missed his chance to compete on Dancing with the Stars just like his predecessor Juan Pablo Galavis, but Sean Lowe says that the men's relationships are better off without the added pressure.
Lowe explains in the March 16, issue of In Touch Weekly that it often seemed like all the attention was much more trouble than it was worth:
"It affected [my relationship with Catherine] so much at the time.
"[It] was strained past the point of comfort."
Lowe told Us Weekly, that only a fool would be looking to further complicate things knowing how hard it is to adjust to life with a new fiancé after the reality cameras stop rolling:
"You spend just a small amount of time with that person before getting engaged, which sounds nuts.
"I still can't believe that we got engaged at the end of that thing."
That being said, Sean still doesn't have much respect for the seemingly disingenuous front Andi Dorfman and her former fiancé, Josh Murray, put up at the premiere of Chris Soules season:
"Right after the Bachelor premiere where they showed up like that.
"I was asking Josh if they were planning their wedding!
"They probably shouldn't have done that red carpet."
Well...at least Andi and Josh called things off before forcing everyone to sit through another boring TV wedding.
