For many years, The Undertaker was the most feared Heavyweight contender in the WWE. However, the phenomenal Brock Lesnar recently knocked him off his throne. In turn, many have wondered what the future will hold for the promotion's deadliest performer. It was recently rumored that the "Deadman" himself might be making an appearance at the upcoming Monday Night Raw. However, onlookers have questioned the validity of this statement, because of reports of the onetime great's diminishing health.
Before his time with the WWE, the now 49-year-old Mark Callaway, a.k.a. The Undertaker, spent a few years jumping between lesser known wrestling promotions. Finally, he found his home with the WWF in 1990.
Since then, he has stacked one of the most impressive list of accomplishments in sports' history. For a while, it looked like his unbeaten record at WrestleMania would never falter. However, the bestial Brock Lesnar felt otherwise.
Now, the Undertaker has been absent from the ring for some time, and fans are starting to get anxious. However, according to the Inquisitr, the upcoming Monday Night Raw might feature everyone's favorite brute:
"Less than a month remains until Wrestlemania 31 and we have still not heard or seen from The Undertaker. Bray Wyatt but we've yet to receive confirmation. However, the WWE is teasing an appearance from the 'Deadman' on this Monday's edition of RAW....If the sight of the urn in Wyatt's hands doesn't bring The Undertaker back, [what the] Superstar has planned for this Monday night will. Wyatt professed that he will unleash the urn's spirit on Raw, making us wonder what he could possibly have planned..."
True, the WWE's teases are exciting. However, are they simply giving onlookers false hope? A
ccording to E Wrestling News, Callaway might be in too bad of health for something like that:
"As [was previously noted], The Undertaker was seen recently and was described as in "almost shocking" shape. The site reports that their source said Taker looked like a man in his sixties, and that he moved as if his knees were gone...The plan is still reportedly to have Undertaker face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, although that hasn't been announced yet."
