Despite starting the rumor herself just like she does every year, Real Housewives of Atlanta queen bee, NeNe Leakes, is once again telling everyone that she isn't quitting the TV show following the reunion finale after all.. According to the latest t gossip news updates, the Glee gust star, who has made it known that she would jump at the chance to have a spin-off all her own, is now claiming she was actually given that very opportunity but turned it down because she loves the Bravo series so much. Season 7 newcomer Claudia Jordan claims that she'd also like to return to the hit program but thinks that cast should first do something about the overly judgmental way it handles each and every situation on the show.
Don't worry Real Housewives of Atlanta fans; if you thought all NeNe Leakes' recent talk about walking away from the show was just more of her same ole rigmarole then you were right.
Just a few short weeks ago Leakes told In Touch Weekly that she just didn't see any way she could put up with filming even one more season with the current cast (via Radar Online):
"I feel like girls are purposefully hired to gang up on me -- doing exactly what they're told, like robots. I don't know if I have the patience for another season -- all those women arguing is draining.
"I'd love a spin-off or talk show."
Now, per her usual, NeNe is not only dismissing the speculation about her quitting as merely idle gossip on Twitter, she told BuzzFeed that she was already offered her own spin-off but turned it down because she just loves RHOA more than words (via Inquisitr):
"I've been offered my own show.
"I don't want the pressure. You need people around you to balance off of and play off of.
"Housewives is an amazing platform.
"I always want to see the show do well. So, in order for the show to do well, I feel like I can't...I don't want to abandon the show."
Season 7 Atlanta rookie, Claudia Jordan, doesn't seem as convinced that Housewives is the best platform for her, however.
Despite blowing off statements she'd made about being dissatisfied with the show previously, the Deal or No Deal model is putting the word out that she thinks the cast needs to drastically reexamine how the treat one another (via Reality Tea):
"I would love for this group to reserve judgment on everyone until there is confirmation.
"In the past it's been shown that it takes very little actual evidence or proof for some to jump on that bandwagon."
Perhaps, Claudia Jordan is more fit more a show like The Talk than she is the world of the Bravo Housewives.
