It's a new week, so that must mean new rumors concerning Princess Kate Middleton's second pregnancy. The latest (and most absurd) tabloid rumors suggest that the pregnant duchess was rushed to the hospital over fears that her baby would be born premature. So, is the Princess currently in labor?
It seems with each passing year, the tabloids here in the USA get more and more outlandish. Although it's usually American celebs who take center stage, this week it was Princess Kate Middleton who generated the most buzz.
Nowhere was that more evident than in the latest edition of Star. The disreputable tabloid actually went so far as to claim that the duchess was suffering from serious pregnancy issues.
In addition to being in incredibly poor taste, the March 9th print edition of Star is also equally false. But that didn't stop the tabloid from quoting one "source" who claimed that the princess was rushed into labor.
But even the laughable Celeb Dirty Laundry had to call BS on the gossip rag, telling readers:
"Regardless of Queen Elizabeth issuing a 'media blackout,' we're pretty sure we would have heard about Kate Middleton going into premature labor and possibly having a miscarriage -- if it were really happening. And, Star Magazine's cover is made up days before the magazine actually hits newsstands, if it were truly 'breaking news,' the report on Kate Middleton going in to labor would have broke the news by now..."
When Celebrity Dirty Laundry is fact checking you, then you know you are in real trouble.
However, back in reality, the Royals find themselves in the news for a totally different reason.
It seems that Prince William is following in the footsteps of his widely-beloved mother, Princess Diana.
People tells readers that, just like Diana, Prince William honored fallen Japanese servicemen during WWII:
"Twenty years ago this month, the late Princess Diana visited the site to pay her respects to the fallen. Friday, her son Prince William, on the second day of his four-day royal visit to Japan, followed in her footsteps."
What do you think about the laughable new report? How do the tabloids get away with this nonsense?
