‘iCarly’ Freddie Benson Nathan Kress Directs New Nickelodeon ‘Henry Danger’ Episode

Tonight, Nickelodeon’s new Dan Schneider (iCarly, Victorious, Sam & Cat) series, Henry Danger is all new. Former iCarly Freddie Benson actor, Nathan Kress is directing tonight’s all new episode in what he hopes to be a new career path.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Henry Danger, titled “Caved In,” reads:

“Jasper sets off an emergency lockdown by mistake, trapping the gang inside the store and the cave.”

Former iCarly star Nathan Kress, who played Freddie Benson on the series, directed this week’s all new episode of Henry Danger. Recently, Kress spoke to J-14 about his time behind the camera:

"As far as the directing side... it was honestly one of the most stressful weeks of my life. Just because I had no idea how much pre-preparation was involved...It's a real growing experience. I learned a ton. I think it's going to make me be a better actor, because I had to focus so much on doing stuff for other people rather than just myself."

Nathan Kress went on to add that he wants to direct many more episodes of the series.

"At this point, I'm hoping to become a semi-regular director for Henry Danger and whatever other stuff Dan Schneider has coming down the line.”

Be sure to check out Nathan Kress’ directorial debut tonight, in Henry Danger, tonight at 8:00 p.m. eastern on Nickelodeon.
