For the past few weeks the tabloids have been reporting that Jessica Simpson's marriage to Eric Johnson may soon end in divorce thanks to their blowout fighting. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Instagram bikini model and her retired pro footballer are even thinking of going to couples' counseling to try to get things back on track, but new reports have surfaced questioning the validity of the whole thing. Meanwhile, rumor has it that Jess' little sister, Ashlee and new husband, Evan, are about to be financially cut off if Diana Ross doesn't hear about one of them getting a job in the very near future.
After less than a year of marriage, Jessica Simpson's fans were shocked to hear news that the singer was on the outs with her husband after a horrific fight at Chateau Marmot in L.A. at the beginning of the month.
A source even claimed in the March 2, issue of OK! Magazine, that Jessica was so upset by the incident that she thinks they need to seek professional help for their marital issues:
"They'd fought before, but this was another level.
"Both Jess and Eric have been married before, so they know how easily things can fall apart.
"They're hoping marriage counseling is the answer."
Fortunately for Jessica's and her fans, however, the dedicated sleuths at Gossip Cop insists that they have spoken to more credible sources and not on bit of the stories going around happens to be true:
"There's no truth to this."
On the other hand, it is very true that Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross don't exactly have any source of steady income, but word has it that Diana Ross has been content on paying their bills, until now.
A source with all the behind-the-scenes details claims in the latest edition of In Touch Weekly that Ross has decided she's derailing the gravy change to force the kids to get back to work:
"Ashlee and Evan's spending is out of control.
"Ashlee doesn't work and Evan isn't making money, yet they are blowing through [Diana's]."
Sounds like Ashlee and Evan wouldn't have the money to see a therapist even if they did decide to start fighting...so, that must make them the stronger couple.
