Rumors that Jay Z is headed towards divorce and Beyonce is pregnant with the couple's second child have taken a backseat to more pressing news this week. Beyonce released a workout video, Jay Z met his Saturday Night Live impersonator but NOT his alleged lovechild.
Jay Z and Beyonce have had a pretty busy couple of weeks and the A-list duo don't show any signs of slowing down. Although such a hectic schedule would break many people, Beyonce seems to have no trouble keeping up.
That could have a little something to do with her insane workout regimen.
Queen Bey recently gave fans an inside view of her daily routine. The video, Time tells readers, was a dedication to Michelle Obama's hallmark health initiative:
"Beyoncé recently posted a sped-up video of her workout routine on Instagram that will make you sweat just from watching it...The video is pegged to her friend Michelle Obama's '#GimmeFive' challenge, which celebrates the fifth anniversary of the First Lady's Let's Move campaign to raise awareness about active, healthy living and combat obesity in the United States."
Not to be outshined by Beyonce, Jay Z has been busy generating a few headlines of his own. And, some of them don't even involve the lawsuit levied against him by an alleged lovechild.
Instead, they focus on Saturday Night Live superstar Jay Pharoah. The multi-talented player is known for his spot on impersonation of Jay Z, as well as other artists like Kanye West.
Pharaoh, who has portrayed Z on a number of occasions, actually ran into Jay Z at the SNL 40th Anniversary Special. But, as Pharaoh tells Page Six, the run in with Hova wasn't as awkward as one might think:
"At the afterparty, Jay Z came up to me and said, 'What up, fake Jay Z, hahaha,' and he just walked off...Beyoncé was like, 'I don't want to say anything about you because I don't want you to impersonate me.'"
What do you think about the latest claims? Is there any chance that Jay Z and Beyonce are breaking up? Will you be attempting a slowed down version of Bey's workout?
