Time for another update in the life of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, who is still serving out her prison sentence for fraud. A new report suggests that husband Joe could be bankrupt following Teresa's incarceration. Meanwhile, Teresa is reportedly getting fit behind bars and hitting the gym every day.
It's no secret that things have been pretty bad for the Giudice household, and now it appears that things have gotten even worse for the legally embattled couple.
Not only is Teresa stuck behind bars serving out her 15-month fraud sentence, but Joe is apparently struggling to keep things together on the outside.
According to one alleged insider who spoke with popular gossip site Radar Online, Joe is completely broke, as Teresa is incapable of generating money from prison:
"Joe is getting desperate...He doesn't have any money coming in and he doesn't know how he is going to get any money...Without Teresa's show money they're not generating any income...Joe knows that he has to start making money, and not on a small level, but a big level. He has a family to support and he has basically hit a brick wall with ideas. Things are really bad for the family right now."
Of course, it's not all bad news for Teresa.
Just because she's stuck behind bars doesn't mean that Teresa Giudice is going to give up. In fact, Teresa is reportedly using the opportunity to get fit.
According to popular gossip website Christian Post, Teresa has been working out nightly:
"It's been almost a month since Teresa Giudice has been in prison, but the outspoken star is keeping busy and reportedly staying positive during her 15-month jail sentence. Now, new reports claim that the mother of four has been hitting the exercise room every night while behind bars at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut."
What do you think about the latest claims? Is Teresa going to come out of prison buff? Is Joe going bankrupt without Teresa around to help with the bills?
