‘RHOBH’ Gossip: Eileen Gives Brandi Wine Throwing Advice: Lisa Rinna Husband Harry Hamlin Threatened Divorce Over TV Show [SEASON 5 NEWS]

Between all the pushing and glass throwing, Season 5 has been one of the most tumultuous years yet for Bravo's cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to the latest gossip news updates, even before husband Harry Hamlin knew what he was really getting into, he threatened to divorce Lisa Rinna if she actually joined the TV show. Not only did Lisa eventually make it on to the show anyways, fellow soap opera star, Eileen Davidson also joined in 2015 -- only to have Brandi Glanville throw a glass of wine in her face inside her first week of shooting. Going into the reunion finale, the only advice that Davidson could think to give Eddie Cibrian's unstable ex-wife is to take some time to think before she acts.

Say what you will about Brandi Glanville's role on Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but Eddie Cibrian's ex serves as the perfect one-woman orientation team to new reality show recruits.

In a recent interview in the March 9, issue of OK! Magazine, Eileen explained that it took no time at all before an run-in with Glanville showed her exactly what to expect out of the show in the future:

"Brandi can be a handful -- I think everyone knows that.

"When someone throws wine in your face, it's shocking...I'd only been filming a week at that point!

"I was like, 'Oh, OK. This is how it's going to be."

Apparently, Harry Hamlin had a far better idea what the series was all about than either Eileen or his wife, Lisa Rinna, did when they were first approached about the show.

Lisa told the Kelly Rippa and Michael Strahan that when she first asked Harry what he thought about her joining they show, he asked her what she thought about getting a divorce (via Daily Mail):

"I went to Harry and said I'm thinking about [doing RHOBH] and he looked at me and said, 'If you do this show, I'll divorce you.''

"I walked away and was done with it. Actually, I was done with the show idea."

Thankfully, Harry finally rethought his position -- allowing for at least one extra wine hurling event this season:

"He comes to me a day later and he goes - and you've met him, he's very mellow, very low-key - and he said, ''I've thought about this and I think it'll be a good idea if you did it.'

"He went through it. And I was like 'Okay.'' And there you are!"

Now, let's just see if Hamilton lets her go through with it again in 2016.
