After Kate Hudson seemed to cool her jets with rumored Dancing with the Stars boyfriend Derek Hough just weeks after choosing him over former fiancé, Matt Bellamy, the Almost Famous actress reportedly started to wonder if there wasn't something very deeply wrong with her. According to the latest gossip news updates, Goldie Hawn's buxom blonde bombshell of a daughter thinks she may need professional help to determine why she can't seem to date any one man longer than a few years before moving on to the next new thing.
While it can't be easy on the men that Kate Hudson loves and eventually leaves to have their hearts thrown through such a loopy-loop, it's said to be fairly unsettling for the Hollywood heartbreaker as well.
Kate admits that one of her biggest impediments/attributes that winds up getting her in so deep so quickly is her never-flinching sense of adventure (via Us Weekly):
"By nature, I've always been the 'dive in the deep end' person...Literally.
"My mom says as a kid I used to jump in the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim."
A source close to Kate recently explained to the National Enquirer that it was that never look back attitude that led to so much turmoil in her personal life:
"Since she played [groupie] Penny Lane in Almost Famous, she's felt it's cool to be with rock 'n' roll guys.
"But everyone knows rock stars are always traveling and have late nights with lots of friends and groupies."
According to the informant, Kate has started to realize that maybe she needs a little help in shaping her judgment in the future and isn't above paying for it:
"Kate is really looking for true, long-lasting love.
"So, Kate came up with her idea to seek input on her choices and why she makes the choices in love that she does."
If nothing else, the spy believes that perhaps Katie will see, for the first time in her life, that there are a whole lot more compatible men in the world outside of showbusiness than are in it:
"A counselor or therapist would probably spend some time on why Kate keeps dating and marrying fellow performers.
"The counselor would want to have her discuss the manner that her work, and her boyfriend's work as a performer, could impact a relationship."
Maybe Kate needs to come to terms with the fact that she may just not be any better at being in a relationship than she is at carrying a major motion picture.
