Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 8 months, then you know that Kate Middleton is pregnant. Online reports are swirling about her pregnancy due date and whether the child will be a boy or a girl. Are there clues in her shopping patterns that could let us know?
The royal couple claims they have no clue as to the gender of their upcoming baby. Princess Kate’s shopping patterns may reflect that claim--as Kate is choosing gender-neutral tones. An ABC News report stated:
“Kate likes very classic, very clean lines, very simple things. She is reportedly preparing two nurseries, one at kensington palace and another at her parents' estate in the small english community of buckleburry where the duchess is expected to spend time with her mother carol following the baby's birth. Items in the royal nursery will include a moses basket similar to this one that retails for $500. Kate and her mother were recently seen loading one into a car.”
With a due date announced of mid-July, it only makes sense that Princess Kate will no longer be making public appearances.
That's a shame for fans who are clamoring to know any additional info they can get their hands on. The family has been largely quiet as to the details of the birth.
Claims arouse that Britain would stand to make several hundreds of millions of dollars (or in their case, pounds) from the tourism the child would generate. Still, no new information abounds. We do have some juicy gossip on one aspect of the pregnancy.
As we reported last week:
Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, may be considering some unusual delivery options. Rumors are flying that Kate will be using hypnotherapy to ease with the delivery of her little prince or princess.
Some claim that hypno-birthing can reduce the amount of time a woman spends in delivery, as well as reducing the amount of pain the mother feels.
ow did this rumor get started? Sources close to the royal couple have given a series of interviews with British publication, Grazia Magazine.
The unnamed source dishes the dirt in their latest issue:
"Kate has researched various birthing methods. She wants it to be natural, so hypno-birthing is one option that appealed and she had been reading up on it and listening to CDs to get into the right frame of mind. Some of her friends have used this method and swear by it. Kate wants to do it her way and be relaxed."
This wouldn't be the first time that Kate has turned to hypnotherapy as a form of treatment. Reports indicate that Middleton began hypnotherapy in the early stages of her pregnancy.
Kate was experiencing such terrible morning sickness that she had to seek medical treatment. Apparently, the treatment was so successful that Middleton plans to implement the techniques during childbirth.
A spokesman for the royal couple issues the following statement:
"We appreciate it's a happy occasion, but there are some matters which should remain private to the duchess."
