Less than a year after their long anticipated wedding, Jessica Simpson's marriage to husband, Eric Johnson, is already said to be near divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, acrimony between the couple reached boiling point February 5, at the Chateau Marmont, where the couple attracted attention thanks to their over-the-top argument. Word has it that since then Daisy Duke has been able to convince the former footballer to attend couple counseling sessions until things get back on track, and by the looks of things it is already working. Reveling in her hard won hotness and the strength of her marriage -- Simpson posted a few 50 Shades of Grey inspired pictures with her hubby to Instagram in celebration of Valentine's Day.
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson reportedly made news at the Chateau Marmont in L.A. earlier this month when a jealousy fueled shouting match supposedly ended their romantic evening in frustration and rancor.
A source claiming to be close to Jess and Eric insists in the March 3, issue of OK! Magazine that their latest row took home first prize for the worst fight they have ever had:
"They'd fought before, but this was another level.
"They were supposed to be enjoying a date night, like they used to before they had kids, but they clearly couldn't even have fun together."
According to the informant the incident left them both shaken and looking for anything to help them explain what is happening and how to save their marriage.
Apparently, Jess decided that professional analysis would be the best thing for them right now:
"Both Jess and Eric have been married before, so they know how easily things can fall apart.
"They're hoping marriage counseling is the answer."
From the looks of Jessica Simpson's Valentine's Day posts to Instagram, it looks like whatever they're doing if definitely working.
In a set of fairly racy picture, the half-naked couple appear in several stages of romantic embrace -- captioning all "50 Shades of Johnson".
If that's the sort of thing that Jessica Simpson allows when she's upset with you, then let us all hope that she will be as angry with us some day.
