Amanda Bynes 2013: Arrested for Drugs, Parents in Touch...Hates Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Drake on Twitter

Amanda Bynes has not had a great 2013. She has been arrested for drugs, attacked Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Drake on Twitter, radically changed her looks and her parents, who were once in touch with the actress, now fear the worst.

While the former actress really started to steal the spotlight in May, fans could have seen this coming much earlier. For example, back in 2010 when she announced she was retiring from acting.

Still, it was in May that Bynes behavior was at its most erratic. On the 23rd of the month, she was arrested for drug possession and tampering with police evidence. She, allegedly, threw a bong out of her Manhattan apartment building.

A few days earlier, Bynes spoke with In Touch and offered the following thoughts:

“I have no clue [why people say I’m insane]. Every time I’ve heard it, it came from an ugly person’s mouth, so I don’t care. Besides, I'm allergic to alcohol,” insists that she doesn’t smoke pot, and says that she’s focused on getting in shape “for all the photo shoots.” Additionally, Bynes says she’s designing clothes and “can’t wait to start working on an album.”

Wow.

Then the starlet went on to bash everyone from Hannah Montana to Drake. Her go-to attack is to call the other person ugly. While this is really just trite, it shows Bynes exhibiting some characteristics that have begun to frighten even her own parents.

A source tells Perez Hilton that Bynes' parents fear their child may be schizophrenic:

"For years, since Amanda was a teenager, she exhibited distressing behavior. Amanda has heard voices for years, and was concerned she was being spied on via smoke alarms, and clocks in her home. She would cover electronic items because Amanda believed that was the only way she wouldn’t be spied on. It’s extremely sad situation because Amanda just refuses to get help."
