Lady Gaga is officially engaged, which has rekindled rumors that the singer is pregnant with her first child. Gaga recently took a break from planning her wedding, to discuss the engagement ring fiancé Taylor Kinney gave her.
Gaga is perhaps best known for her eccentric and nonconformist attitude, so fans were a bit surprised to learn how sentimental Gaga got over her upcoming wedding to longtime boyfriend and current fiance, Taylor Kinney.
The A-list singer informed fans of her engagement in typical celebrity fashion -- by showing off her stunning engagement ring on social media. However, this wasn't the first engagement ring Lady Gaga was offered.
When speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Gaga revealed that Taylor offered her a much different engagement ring:
"[My engagement] was so special...It was actually funny, he first gave me a Ring Pop -- a candy Ring Pop -- and I was crying so hard, and I said yes right away, and then he pulled out the heart-shaped diamond and I said 'Oh, God!'"
Understandably, this has many fans wondering when Lady Gaga and Taylor might be expecting their first child. Naturally, this has given tabloids the go-ahead to run wild with their endless pregnancy speculation.
Of course, this is nothing new.
Back in December, a number of media outlets claimed that Gaga was already pregnant with the couple's first child. But, our friends over at Gossip Cop tackled these rumors.
Unsurprisingly, Lady Gaga was NOT pregnant:
"Lady Gaga is not pregnant, despite a number of published reports...Gossip Cop can exclusively report that the rumors are 100 percent false. The Daily Star, for instance, claimed Lady Gaga appeared to be "pregnant with her first child...showing a baby bump as she stepped out in New York" on Thursday night. But the singer's rep tells Gossip Cop talk of Gaga expecting is 'not true.'"
