Time for another update in the lives of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children. According to Angelina Jolie and a number of media outlets, daughter Shiloh may identify more with the male gender. According to Jolie, she demands to be called John.
Given Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's tireless charity work, it should come as no surprise that the couple would make for loving, progressive parents.
But, given America's longtime obsession with gender roles, it's understandable that Brad and Angie have been facing media scrutiny over how they're raising Shiloh.
The A-list couple, who finally tied the knot last summer, have embraced Shiloh's gender-bending attitude, including her preference to be called John.
Of course, some notable celebs have embraced and praised the couple for their liberal attitudes. This includes stripper-turned-Instagram-feuder Amber Rose.
According to TMZ, Amber fully supports Shiloh's decision to be called John:
"Amber Rose showed her support for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's parenting by posting a pic of their daughter -- dressed in a suit and tie -- and praising them for supporting Shiloh's desire to be a boy...Amber captioned her Instagram 'How gorgeous is John Jolie Pitt?' The image she used is Shiloh at one of Angelina's recent premieres...Both Brad and Angelina have said Shiloh thinks of herself as a boy..."
Of course, this isn't the only reason that Angelina Jolie finds herself in the news.
Fans likely remember Jolie's relationship with Billy Bob Thornton (you know, the guy whose blood she wore around her neck in a vial). Well, it looks like Billy may have finally found his true soulmate.
According to People, Billy Bob Thornton tied the knot with his girlfriend over the weekend:
"Billy Bob Thornton and long-time girlfriend Connie Angland tied the knot in October after 12 years of dating, the actor's rep confirms to PEOPLE...The Fargo actor, 59, wed Angland, 49, on Oct. 22 "at their home in Los Angeles during a private ceremony before family," the rep says in a statement."
