Lil Snupe, child rapper, has been found dead. Meek Mill first discovered the young prodigy, and before his career could really take off, he was shot.
Lil Snupe, who calls Louisiana home, was an involved in altercation earlier in the day. While details of the homicide are still incomplete, his passing was confirmed this morning by AllHipHop:
"Now, I am hearing that he has been found dead. I don’t have a lot of details, but I heard he was shot by some haters. But, the young spitter is no longer here and slowing the the RIPs are rolling in."
Back in February of this year, Snupe caught up with MTV News and shared some insight into Mill and his relationship:
"He was in a van, they was finna pull off. And I went and knocked on the van, on the window. They let the window down, grabbed the mixtape and it was like 10 minutes later, 20 minutes later they called me.”
While Meek discovered Snupe towards the end of 2012, he wasn’t officially introduced as part of the posse until April of this year. That’s when Meek went on record to the folks over at MTV:
"He was spittin' so much pain, he's from the south with a flow like an east coast guy," Meek said. "Like with that bounce flow, all over the place, he really can spit, and he was talking that talk that I can really relate to. I seen potential in him."
Lil Snupe was just 18-years-old.
