There was no winner for last weekend’s Powerball lottery drawing, meaning that this weeks game total is on the rise. Last week three winners won half a billion. Check the report below for tonight’s total and an update on last week’s game.

“There were no jackpot winners for Saturday's drawing... The next drawing will be Wednesday, February 18th, 2015.”
That means that this week’s Powerball lottery game has risen to a whopping $50 million, with an estimated cash value option of $33.4 mill.
One of last week’s big winner’s has come forward, Marie Holmes, a 26-year-old mother of four, won a third of the $564 million drawing. Holmes spoke with NBC News Affiliate WECT in North Carolina, telling her story:
"I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I saw the ticket and checked it."
NBC News goes on to report that Holmes is planning “to give to her church, buy a new house and set up college funds for the kids.”
Marie Holmes has the option to chose between either $188 million over 30 years or the $127 million lump sum, pre taxes.
The Powerball Lottery is warning players to be carefull.
