Now that professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko has already had a baby with diminutive Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere, the Ukrainian Olympian doesn't think that getting married holds the significance that it once did. According to all the latest gossip news updates, the political activist thinks that planning a wedding can wait until they can make time for something that seems frivolous now that they have to take care of their little girl, Kaya. In a related bit of news, Voice mentor Christina Aguilera is going to be joining the Heroes alum in Season 3 of the ABC country music TV show. Word has it that Xtina is going to be playing a pop legend who drops into Music City with dreams of finally recording a country album.
Shortly before Nashville beauty Hayden Panettiere announced that she was pregnant, rumors were circulating that her fiancé, Wladimir Klitscko, was really rethinking the whole idea a wedding, and now that the baby is here, it seems that the 6-and-a-half-foot fighter would just as soon forget all about ever having agreeing to a wedding.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Wladimir explained that as far as he was concerned, officially getting married could wait indefinitely now that he and Hayden had a baby to look after (via Entertainment Tonight):
"Now is for now -- when people get married there are different things they promise to each other and I understand the promising part, but I think [having] children is something that connects you until the end of your days no matter what.
"Everything else is coming, it's something that needs to be planned...but as I said, the connection with the child is better than any marriage!"
Perhaps, that is a sentiment shared by Christina Aguilera who also recently had a baby with her fiancé, Matt Rutler, without bothering to tie the knot ahead of time.
Either way the foursome will be able to talk all about it while Christina is recording her serval episode arch on the show.
According to E! Online, Xtina will be playing a character much like herself -- only much more successful, wealthy and famous:
"Aguilera is actually going to bring a little pop to the country music business as Jade St. John, a pop superstar.
"Jade has been going pretty much non-stop since she broke out in the music world 10 years ago.
"Jade has always loved country music -- she grew up listening to it, and she still listens to it now.
"In fact, if her label would let her, she'd even record a country album."
That makes sense -- you wouldn't want something silly like that doing to St. John what Burlesque did to Aguilera's career.
